The Technical Engineering College in Najaf, affiliated with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a workshop on intellectual terrorism and its negative effects on the educational process. The event was held in collaboration with the Department of Communication Engineering Technologies, the Educational Guidance Division, and the Curriculum Division.
The workshop was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mueid Baqir Mohammed and Lecturer Dr. Hossam Nu’man Mohammed Ali, both faculty members at the college. The session explored the psychological and societal impacts of intellectual terrorism on the academic community in general and students in particular.
The discussion emphasized the importance of increasing student awareness to prevent them from being influenced by harmful ideologies and extremist beliefs that seek to undermine ethics, values, and societal norms.
This workshop provided a valuable opportunity to enhance awareness about the dangers of intellectual terrorism and strategies to counter it within the educational context.
