The Najaf Technical Engineering College holds a seminar on promoting the values of citizenship, civil peace, and rejecting sectarianism and terrorist takfiri ideologies within the educational institution.

In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Najaf Technical Engineering College, Professor Dr. Hassanein Ghani Al-Husseini, the Najaf Technical Engineering College held a seminar entitled: “Promoting the Values of Citizenship, Civil Peace, and Rejecting Sectarianism and Terrorist Takfiri Ideologies within the Educational Institution.”
The seminar was held in collaboration with the Guidance and Counseling Division, and was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Moyad Mohammed Baqir, Head of the Guidance and Counseling Unit at the college.
The seminar discussed the importance of civil peace, avoiding sectarianism, and fostering peace within educational institutions, which are considered the main centers for knowledge and learning. This seminar provided an important opportunity to raise awareness about the risks associated with sectarianism and how to confront it within the educational context.
