The participation of the Programming Club team at the Al-Najaf Technical Engineering College in the Arab Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship, Tunisia 2025.

Under the direct supervision of the Dean of Al-Najaf Technical Engineering College, Professor Dr. Hassanin Ghani Al-Husseini, the Programming Club, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center at Al-Najaf Technical Engineering College, participated in the Arab Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship in Tunisia 2025. The Programming Club team at Al-Najaf Technical Engineering College was crowned with victory, as the Iraqi team participating in the competition achieved a historic win by securing the first place in the Innovation Competition, the most challenging and important event of the championship.

The Programming Club team from Najaf once again excelled, maintaining their title for the second consecutive year in a remarkable performance that served as a defense of their title, making the Innovation Competition a trademark of the Programming Club at the Technical Engineering College.

The winning team consisted of:

• Mohammad Firas Nizar – Programming Club Member
• Rida Firas Nizar – Programming Club Member

The team was supervised by a group of distinguished Iraqi university experts:

• Eng. Fatima Mohammed Kazem – Certified Trainer – Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University / Al-Najaf Technical Engineering College
• Head Programmer Firas Nizar Kareem – Certified Trainer – Ministry of Transport / General Company for Land Transport

This victory reflects Iraq’s leadership in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, and proves that the Programming Club in Najaf is a true incubator for young talents and success stories.
