Career Development and Employment Unit
The idea of establishing the Career Development and Employment Unit emerged as a response to the excessive increase in the number of graduates without a clear policy to address this issue. The unit aims to provide innovative solutions and guide graduates towards private sector opportunities instead of relying solely on the public sector. This contributes to improving employment prospects and meeting the evolving demands of the job market.
The unit is administratively linked to the Office of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, ensuring close coordination with other college departments and relevant entities to achieve common goals and enhance higher education outcomes.
To graduate professionals who excel in local and global companies, equipped with advanced skills and capabilities that align with the changing demands of the job market.
To contribute to developing and enhancing graduates’ skills in line with labor market needs, especially in the private sector, aiming to reduce unemployment rates and align educational outcomes with market requirements, while fostering effective partnerships between academic institutions and the job market.
