In a step aimed at enhancing scientific cooperation and exchanging expertise, the Dean of the Technical Engineering College of Najaf at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassanein Ghani Al-Husseini, received a delegation from Al-Kunooz University, headed by the Assistant President of the University, Professor Dr. Fawzi Saddam Mohsen.
The delegation was received by the Dean of the Technical Engineering College of Najaf, Professor Dr. Hassanein Ghani Al-Husseini, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Asaad Al-Sahlani, and the Assistant Dean for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Abdul-Jalil Al-Maliki. During the meeting, a scientific twinning agreement was signed between the two academic institutions, aiming to open new horizons for cooperation in joint scientific research, exchange of teaching expertise, development of academic curricula, as well as the organization of joint scientific conferences and seminars.
Professor Dr. Hassanein Ghani Al-Husseini emphasized the importance of this agreement in “raising the level of academic quality and creating a creative educational and research environment that serves the course of technical and vocational education in Iraq and contributes to preparing qualified engineering and technical cadres that meet labor market needs.”
For his part, Professor Dr. Fawzi Saddam Mohsen praised the distinguished academic reputation of the Technical Engineering College of Najaf, expressing his hope that “this partnership will result in pioneering scientific and research projects and enhance integration between educational institutions to serve and develop society.”
This agreement comes from the vision of both institutions regarding the importance of academic cooperation in building bridges of knowledge and driving technological and engineering development forward.
