Postgraduate students have commenced their first-semester examinations for the academic year 2024-2025.

As part of the initiative to establish postgraduate programs in Iraqi universities in general and Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in particular, the ministerial committee tasked with initiating a master’s program in the Department of Building and Construction Engineering Technologies at the Technical Engineering College in Najaf, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, conducted a visit.
They were received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hassanein Ghani Al-Husseini, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Asaad Al-Sahlani, and the Head of the Department of Building and Construction Engineering Technologies, Dr. Kamal Al-Fadhli.
The visit included a field inspection by the ministerial committee to assess the material and human resources, as well as the compliance with the requirements stipulated in Postgraduate Studies Regulations No. 26 of 1990.
Dr. Al-Husseini highlighted that the current postgraduate programs in the college include the Communications and Power Mechanics Departments (Master’s and Doctorate programs). He also mentioned the planned establishment of a master’s program in the Aviation Engineering Technologies Department, emphasizing the college’s commitment to developing postgraduate studies to meet labor market demands.
