About College

Engineering Technical College/ Najaf was established in Najaf in the academic year 1998-1999 in the Department Of Communication Technical Engineering and Automotive Technical Engineering. Then, in the academic year 2014-2015, the Department of aeronautical Technical Engineering was established, and then in the academic year 2018-2017, the Department of avionics Technical Engineering and the Department of laser and Optical electro  Technical Engineering were established. In the academic year 2019-2020, the Department of Construction and Building Technical Engineering was established.In 2022-2023, Department Of Physical  and radiotherapy Technical Engineering.

 

The Najaf Technical Engineering College is one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, located within the campus of the Technical Institute – Najaf. There is mutual benefit and utilization between the technical college and the technical institute in terms of infrastructure, equipment, and staff.
