The Department of Health Physics Engineering and Radiation Therapy Technology holds an exhibition to showcase students’ projects.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassanein Ghani Al-Husseini, Dean of the Technical Engineering College in Najaf at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit, the Department of Health Physics Engineering and Radiation Therapy Technology, under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department, Professor Ali Mohammed Saeed, organized an exhibition to showcase students’ projects.

The exhibition featured innovative student projects, including the fabrication of centrifuge devices with various designs, the design and development of a specialized device for electrocardiogram (ECG) measurement and pulse monitoring, a nerve and muscle stimulation device, and a nuclear radiation detection sensor for reactors, among many other pioneering projects.

During the event, the top three winning projects were honored by the Assistant Dean for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Abdul-Jalil Al-Maliki.

In this context, Dr. Al-Husseini emphasized that the college administration consistently prioritizes supporting and nurturing students’ talents.
