Al-Najaf Technical Engineering College has concluded the first semester exams for postgraduate students.

As part of the efforts to establish postgraduate programs in Iraqi universities in general and Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in particular, a ministerial committee visited the Technical Engineering College in Najaf to initiate a Master’s program in the Laser Engineering Technology Department.
The committee was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hassanain Ghani Al-Husseini, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Asaad Al-Sahlani, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul-Jalil, and the Head of the Laser and Optical Electronics Engineering Technology Department, Dr. Abdullah Ali Qasim.
The visit included a field inspection by the committee to assess the physical and human resources and ensure compliance with the requirements outlined in Postgraduate Studies Regulation No. 26 of 1990.
Dr. Al-Husseini stated that the current postgraduate programs at the college include Master’s and Ph.D. studies in the Communication and Power Mechanics Departments. He also noted that plans are underway to establish Master’s programs in the Aeronautical Engineering Technology and Construction Engineering Departments. He affirmed the college’s commitment to expanding postgraduate studies to meet labor market demands.
