Dr. Adel Abdulaziz Aidan
Dr. Adel Aidan serves as the Head of the Department of Power Mechanics Engineering Technologies at the Technical Engineering College – Najaf / Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. He specializes in thermal mechanics, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, and renewable energy. He has a distinguished academic and research record through his publications in reputable scientific journals and his supervision of master's and doctoral theses, which enhances his leadership role in developing academic and research programs within the department.

The Department of Power Mechanics Engineering Technologies offers postgraduate programs including Master’s and PhD degrees, aiming to prepare specialized researchers who keep pace with scientific developments in the fields of design, operation, and maintenance of mechanical power systems and power plants.
The Master’s program aims to enhance students’ skills in the field of mechanical power. It includes advanced courses in system analysis, equipment operation and maintenance, and applied scientific research.
