Establishment

Engineering Technical College/ Najaf was established in Najaf in the academic year 1998-1999 in the Department Of Communication Technical Engineering and Automotive Technologies Engineering. Then, in the academic year 2014-2015, the Department of aeronautical Technical Engineering was established, and then in the academic year 2018-2017, the Department of avionics Technical Engineering and the Department of laser and electro-optics Technical Engineering were established. In the academic year 2019-2020, the Department of building and Construction Technical Engineering was established.

Vision:
Creating a technical educational system based on the requirements and needs of society and other service establishments in technical engineering specializations to support the desired civil development.

Mission:
Everyone works towards graduating cohorts capable of serving society by providing scientific, engineering, and technical competence through technical education aligned with internationally recognized quality standards.

Goals:

In light of the college’s establishment law in 1998, the college aims to achieve the following objectives:

• Graduating competent cadres.
• Supporting the market with the required specializations.
• Keeping pace with scientific and technological advancements by developing the college’s specializations.
• Enhancing interaction between the college and the market to exchange expertise and develop technologies.
