The Technical Engineering College of Najaf organizes a seminar on social violence.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College of Najaf, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit and the Najaf Ashraf Police Command, organized a seminar titled:

“Gender-Based Violence”

The seminar covered several key topics. The first session addressed the definition of violence in general and the types of violence against women. The second session focused on the causes of violence and how to address it legally and socially. The third and fourth sessions discussed the prevalence of violence against women in Iraq and explored solutions and methods to reduce it.

It is worth mentioning that the seminar speakers included Colonel Mufeed Salem, Lieutenant Colonel Kazem Abdul Hassan, and Mr. Atheer Jassim Jaber from the Najaf Ashraf Police Command.
