As part of the directives of the Presidency of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, the Media and Government Communication Division at the Najaf Technical Engineering College held a course titled “Introduction to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.”
The lecturer, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Jalil Mahdi, the Associate Dean for Financial and Administrative Affairs, explained that the seminar covered several key topics.
- The first topic focused on defining persons with disabilities and their specific rights.
- The second topic addressed the art of dealing with persons with disabilities and the impact of social integration.
- The third topic discussed both individuals with and without disabilities and the mechanisms of integration.
- The fourth topic covered the rights of persons with disabilities according to the applicable Iraqi law.
