The Technical Engineering College of Najaf at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held an awareness seminar entitled “Student Disciplinary Regulations,” based on the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (160) of 2007. The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Azhar Badeer, with the participation of a number of faculty members and students.
The seminar addressed a set of rules and instructions that regulate students’ behavior inside and outside the university campus, aiming to maintain order and discipline within the university and to promote ethical and social values among students.
The seminar also highlighted the most important objectives of the disciplinary regulations, most notably:
- Enhancing discipline and order within the university
- Protecting the rights of students and faculty members
- Promoting ethical and social values among students
- Preserving university property
The college administration affirmed that holding such seminars comes within the framework of its commitment to spreading awareness of university regulations and instructions and to building an educational environment based on mutual respect and discipline, contributing to the advancement of the scientific and educational process.
