The Technical Engineering College of Najaf at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held an awareness stand to condemn violence against women, affirming the importance of respecting women’s rights and promoting the humanitarian and social values that support them.
The stand was held in the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hassanein Ghani Al-Husseini, and the Assistant Dean for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Abdul-Jalil Mahdi, with the participation of a number of the college’s staff and students.
During the stand, participants emphasized the necessity of spreading community awareness about the dangers of violence against women and working to entrench a culture of respect and equality, contributing to building a cohesive society characterized by justice and solidarity.
This activity comes as part of the college’s programs aimed at supporting humanitarian issues and strengthening the role of educational institutions in serving the community.
