The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Technical Engineering College of Najaf, University of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical, organized a seminar titled “Developing Specialized Skills.”
The seminar, presented by Assistant Lecturer Rana Hassan Jaafar, covered several key topics, including:
- The importance of developing specialized skills for students and graduates.
- The role and significance of these skills in preparing graduates for job opportunities and adapting to the evolving job market.
- Enhancing personal and technical skills necessary for excellence in various careers.
The seminar emphasized the necessity for individuals to possess one or more specialized skills. To improve these skills, it highlighted two key aspects: continuous learning and consistent practice. Several methods were recommended for skill development, such as:
- Regular training and practice of acquired technical skills.
- Enrolling in available training courses related to the desired skill.
- Keeping up with modern technologies in the field.
- Attending specialized seminars and programs.
