The Technical Engineering College – Najaf welcomes Syrian student Mohammed Namour Fayyad as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative.

The Dean of the Technical Engineering College – Najaf at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hasanain Ghani Al-Husseini, met with the Syrian student Mohammed Namour Fayyad, one of the students coming from the Syrian Arab Republic, as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This initiative aims to strengthen scientific and cultural cooperation and attract Arab and international students to study at Iraqi universities.

During the meeting, the Dean welcomed the student and directed the concerned departments to provide all necessary facilities and academic and administrative support to ensure a distinguished learning environment. He emphasized that the college welcomes all students seeking a solid technical education within modern specializations that keep pace with global developments.

Student Mohammed Namour Fayyad continues his studies in the Department of Communication Engineering Technologies within the Master’s Program, representing one of the success stories of the “Study in Iraq” initiative in attracting talented students from sister countries.

This step reflects the ongoing efforts of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University to enhance regional and international academic openness and expand avenues of cooperation between Iraq and sister nations in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
