Active participation of the Technical Engineering College – Najaf in the First International Conference on Laser Applications in Medicine and Surgery.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Hasanain Ghani Al-Husseini, Dean of the Technical Engineering College – Najaf, with direct supervision from the Department of Laser and Optoelectronic Engineering Technologies, a group of faculty members and students from the department participated in the First International Conference on Laser Applications in Medicine and Surgery, organized by the University of Cordoba and held at the Palace of Culture.

This participation aimed to enhance the practical and scientific skills of students and provide them with the opportunity to explore the latest research and innovations in medical and surgical laser applications, thereby contributing to the development of their academic and research capabilities.

This step reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to supporting scientific activities, encouraging research, and promoting active participation in local and international conferences — reinforcing the reputation of both the university and the college in the fields of scientific and technological advancement.
