As part of its annual plan for the academic year 2025–2026, the Technology Incubators and Ecosystem Unit at the Technical Engineering College of Najaf – Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University organized a scientific seminar entitled:
“The Role of Youth in Supporting the Green Economy,”
delivered by Lecturer Mohammed Qasim Shaaban.
The seminar addressed the importance of youth as an effective force and a key driver in achieving sustainable development worldwide, and their vital role in supporting the transition toward a green economy. It also highlighted inspiring models and success stories of young people who have made a real impact through innovative environmental initiatives and projects that contributed to raising environmental awareness and building a more sustainable society.
The seminar aimed to highlight the role of the new generation in confronting environmental and climate challenges, and to encourage them to adopt entrepreneurial ideas and projects that contribute to supporting green development pathways and building a sustainable future.
