Master’s Program
The Master’s program in Construction and Building Technologies Engineering aims to prepare advanced cadres capable of designing, managing, and implementing construction projects efficiently, with a focus on sustainability, structural safety, material technologies, and cost and time management according to approved standards and codes.
Curriculum
The curriculum combines theoretical foundations and practical applications in the following areas:
- Design of concrete and steel structures according to standard codes
- Advanced concrete and material engineering, repair and rehabilitation techniques
- Geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, and foundation works
- Construction project management, quantity surveying, contracts, and claims
- Sustainability and energy efficiency in buildings, life-cycle assessment
- Building Information Modeling (BIM) and numerical simulation of structures
- Occupational safety and risk management at construction sites
Admission Requirements
According to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
- Passing the competitive exam
- A scientific interview to evaluate research capabilities
